Shelf life LR touch up paint (unopened)

I asked this same ridiculous question on the other board too. So apologies for those seeing this twice.

I recognize this is a ridiculous question but…. I have an unopened/unused rattle can of LRC424 touch up paint for Arles Blue (see pic). Bought from RN in 2003. If you shake it, it seems fine. It has been in a barn so exposed to freeze/thaw.

I have stripped and epoxy primed my hinges, should I use this as a top coat or not?

Alternatively I was thinking of figuring out how to get some ppg or another good paint in a rattle can.

Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated

I’ll be facing the same issue soon after I strip my hood. I’m going for it.

With a hope and prayer.

I highly recommend a good 2 part epoxy primer. Once activated (2 components mixed) you have 48hrs to use -> plenty of time for a few coats. And it sands nicely and doesn’t gum up. My experience anyway
