RRC Trans Cooler Lines

Upon removal of the Trans cooler lines, one of them got kinked and pretzeled up so it will need replacing as the rubber aspect is old and the metal tube is good and f***ed. Where is the best place to source them? Also, would it be possible to salavage the fittings, take them to a local hydraulic line place, and have them make an entirely rubber Trans cooler line? Or would that be a terrible idea?
I know the lines from a vendor can be super pricey so I was wondering what are my alternative options.

Thanks for the help in advance,

Totally. I regularly go to the local parker store and have lines made for land rovers. Depending on your location these guys can remake the steel portions too. The trans cooler lines are low pressure ie you can use hose clamps on them and they don't leak. Had a 300 tdi 90 come through here in December where the engine oil cooler lines were fuel line and hose clamps. I took those ends and had the lines remade with steel reinforced high pressure oil hose.

I think I have an old set of RRC trans cooler lines.
I might even have both kinds.
The older lines have the compression style fitting and the newer('93 I think) ones have the o-ring.

Like Doug said, if you have a place, you can get them redone.
