Raptor v Mud Console

I need to go with one or other. Haven't yet seen the Raptor in person, so hoping some of you have and can share your opinions on it v the Mud unit. There have to be pluses and minuses to both units.

Have the Mud unit, no complaints, happy with the decision. Did have to cut the LHD lower dash, so there's no going back, which was fine by me.

Have not seen the Raptor in person either, so no context for comparison.

I used the MudUK console but did not cut the dash. I'm happy with it.

Don't have either, but I do have just about every other product that Raptor makes. Really impressive quality.

I've never heard of these guys. They look to have a nice product and made in North America as well.

I went with MUD b/c the plastic matches closely with the rest of dash color & texture.

BTW, those with Mud console, are you able to fit a cig adapter without cutting or additional mods? I think without cutting, the cig cutouts/12v USB are very snug against the dash trim?

Without doing the dash cut, the clearance is very limited.

I put a Blue Sea dual USB charger and had to space it out because of lack of depth.
Not an issue if you cut the dash.

May need to rethink my 12v cig adapter plan.

lithium, I'll take a profile picture.
I used an old Px bottle from my dogs heart meds(it was the perfect circumference) and Dremel'd a spacer.
A quick black spray paint= a spacer.

It's not terrible, and it's easier to plug the phone cord in...

(I need to fill in the blank Carling slots...)

Yup! Got one of those. And some extra carling switch housing. So, may go that route.
