I have a LHD dash horded away that I am now looking to sell. This is pretty much a complete top and bottom pre 2002 set up. This includes all of the hard to find parts: heater controls, grab handle, cowl stiffener, wiper cover, etc. I am also including a RHD heater in great condition that can be converted to LHD inexpensively (see D-source post http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...eferrerid=3511 ) The heater is not listed below but is in great shape with a fairly new core and seals. $1750 for all plus shipping ? not willing to split up.

I was planning on using all of these parts myself. Before I put the lower dash into storage I rust treated the interior, reinforced the lower edge, and gorilla taped the back side lower edge to keep the plastic cover tight to the back of the dash shown in photos (the original glue had started to come loose on the back at the bottom). The lower dash has a toggle switch mounted and 4 small bolts where someone hung a CB and also has a few scuffs and dings. The wiper cover has 2 slices in the skin on the lower portion below the speaker which you don?t really notice when installed; it also has some corrosion on the back but is plenty strong (photo of inside included here). The plastic fascia has a small amount of blue overspray on one edge. The bulkhead plate was RHD originally and is the only converted part on the list above.
If you are looking for perfection and have the means buy the new part kit from Safari HP for $6200 (although I think they only include the conversion parts). If you don?t need perfection this may be a good option for you. None of the used parts are completely perfect but are in working order unless noted otherwise above.
