Just like that, RRC prices gone

I always wondered what car I would sell and regret, thinking I could get another down the line again at some point when it made sense. The RRC is one of my favorite LR's and lately, the pricing has jumped substantially. Not sure if this is a pent up fluke of spending in the covid era or a true market but the recent sales of RRC's on BAT (along with other vehicles as well) has had it's most recent spike I've ever noticed. Trucks that were at best 10k a year ago or more are now fetching 25-30k.

It's great, glad that the market appreciates the Classic, but I have to say I am bummed as I'd never spend 25k+ on any RRC, the days of fun with these trucks seem to be already gone.

Wish I'd held on to my former '95, she was needy but looking back, that's likely the last one I'll have at the 6k I paid for her back in 2017.

I had a 95 LWB that I paid $1000 for, drove for a few years and then gave to a friend. To this day it's my favorite Land Rover of all time. I'd take a well sorted RRC over any of the Defenders I've had if there were large miles to cross.

There just isn’t many decent examples available. Most were delivered in the NE and driven in the Winter with salt laden roads which the rust worms loved. Especially as the steel substructure was just primed painted. Loved our 110 in Brasil yet still feel a RRC LWB is the best all around Landie. Although do like my D1 as a go to Rover.
