I’ve been using a fuid vac pump but wish the filter was up top like newer engines.

so it is a valve, thats what I was asking. The lame pictures on ebay gave no idea how it works.

Yes erover82 the correct tread would be bsp, but as this is not a high pressure fitment and that the difference is so small and I as I got 2 of them for 28bucks shipped why not? I do have two other landys with the correct bsp ones but 40 bucks each. Sometimes I wonder why bother posting.

I appreciate your post...and don't think that erover82 was chastising you, just posting more specifics. I didn't even know these existed, and am now searching or one for my 19J...

Looks like the correct one for a 19J would be a
Drainplug 3/8 x 19BSP - Standard Series
SKU: S04546070010103 according to Difflock. Not finding one on Ebay for that for anywhere close to $10 or even $20...bummer
