High Winter Humidity Levels / Electric Desiccant Dehumidifier

I live in Michigan and have been having trouble with very high humidity levels during the winter in my three-bay unheated detached garage (most likely the large quantity of firewood also stored in there, and generally swampy ground). Summer is not a problem since I can run a "normal" compressor-based dehumidifier, but the garage gets much too cold in the winter for those to be effective (all they do is waste power below 60 degrees or so).

On the other hand, an "electric desiccant" dehumidifier (that repeatedly reheats moisture absorbing desiccant material) is supposed to work all of the way down to freezing. Has anyone used one of these, and can they recommend a specific brand/model? Or is there some other method I should be considering?
