Fuel Stop Solenoid 12V source

My PO left me some remnants of a kill switch on the fuel stop solenoid on my 200tdi. I found some lamp cord type stuff tied together in the dash where a switch likely used to live. He at least tried to solder it.... I will replace the wire if I can but want to know if anyone knows offhand where the other end terminates. Is it in a connector in the engine bay or does it go directly into the fuse block? Thanks.

You can verify with the wiring diagram, Francis, but think the wire to the fuel shut-off is the white circuit which is direct from the IG SW to the solenoid via the big multi-wire dash plug up by the bulkhead.

Thanks Robert. Likely just properly fix for now and move on. 200tdi harness is pretty simple and can rebuild later if necessary.

Yeah Robert's correct it goes from ignition switch directly to the engine loom through the big multi plug in the back of the engine bay hanging on the bulkhead. It's a direct shot with no fuse and no other connections.

Looked at it today, looks like it hits the loom plug not even 12 inches away right next to the fuel filter. I thought it went the other direction towards the driver side (lhd). Easy fix with 3m heatshrink crimp. Was hoping to de-pin and swap the feed, but it's molded rubber plug.. For now.

Thanks gents.
