Friend in CT (near NYC) looking for an LR3

He's looking for an LR3 around $8K, hopefully well-maintained and has records, but lets see what's out there.

-HD/not-HD no preference
-Overall good condition, understood for this price you're looking at 100K+ mileage
-No major issues/project-car

Things he's like (but aren't required):
-Bluetooth
-replaced/updated EAS pump (if older hitachi)

He'll want to confirm that the transmission filter and fluid have been changed. That is a $900 job around here.

They can be (?are) money pits. I'd never go for the base V6 version they had. This one in Bridgeport might be worth looking. He might want to get Aaa gold before he buys... https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/702617242/overview?aff=share_other

They're more reliable than my previous Rovers. My only issues were self-inflicted: not adjusting the parking brake correctly and overthinking a dead battery.
