Extended travel steering stabilizer

I’m running 255/85R16’s on wold rims and utilizing 1” spacers as I prefer that backspacing, stance, and steering improvement. I’m also running a disco steering drop arm and basically a disco drag link to go along with it. That said, now my steering is limited by the stabilizer (or technically by the limit bolts which could be turned in further) before rubbing and I’d like that little bit more for the trails. The OMESD32 stabilizer has a range from 440mm to 680mm (240mm of travel). I can’t seem to find any longer and still searching. Any suggestions?

I’m running all fox, better build quality than most. Broken OME’s. If fox doesn’t work out, I’d try koni reds for the weld quality.

I couldn’t even find a Kona Steering stabilizer! I’ll check out the fox. Which model / number are you running?

That 986-24-158 doesn’t seem to exist outside of UK and can’t even find it through Fox (yet). But that’s the sort of travel I’m looking for. I asked 4wdParts if they could get it and the responded that is not possible. Weird reply, but definitive.

I've been trying for a few months, it's an extremely odd situation to get them through Fox. Essentially that's a "proprietary offering" through certain vendors, so for us to order them, we have to provide them "our specifications" to order. It's bizarre

Thanks, but this has significantly less travel, only 210mm of travel.

I might be missing something...and while you would lose some leverage -- cant you simply move the Rod bracket down to accomodate the shorter damper? It does increase the working angle of the damper but should give you more turning range...correct?

I can slide it anywhere on the drag link, but due to the acute angle of the dampener, if I slide it down, it hits full compression prior to full turning lock to to right. See photo in post 1 or Mirra’s above, all that happens is compressing or extending damper with very little angle change. I did flip the bracket to increase angle over to the other side, but it put noticeable pressure on the pin end of dampener. It may end up being a solution, but it isn’t as graceful. I got to Islay for a week of peaty scotches, so I may just pick one up while there…

got it!...
When i was looking for shock options....found these catalogs that outline end type, and compressed / extended lengths.
....Or perhaps welding a custom bracket for the frame mount.
