door won't close

Hey Guys
So for some reason this summer the driver side door on my 94 D90 stopped latching closed properly. Sometimes when I'm driving it, the door will open. It doesn't happen if I open the window, but it isn't much fun to have the window open during the winter. I've looked at it and everything seems to be working right. Anyone know what could be happening or had it happen to them?

yeah, its happened to me twice over last 10 years or so. replaced mechanism both times. got my last replacement from rock auto. i have roll up push button doors, fyi.

it could also be stricker isnt far enough out in which case it needs to come out more--so check that first.
