My truck (1997 NAS 90) died a few weeks ago. It started, I put it in reverse tp pull out from under the car port and it died.
Code reader gave me P0300 and P1316. I changed plugs, wires, and just put a new Crank Position Sensor in. Currently the complete exhaust (cats and exhaust pipe) is off the truck so the O2 sensors are disconnected.
Can I try to start it with the O2 sensors disconnected (I assume it will go into "limp mode"}? I would like to ensure it is running before connecting the exhaust back up and I would like to move it from the car port into the garage to make putting the exhaust back on a bit easier (I have a pit in the garage but I am laying in the dirt under the truck while under the car port...
