The Webers on the 2.25 were built especially for the Land Rover and have all sorts of adjustments and solenoids that are confusing.
As a practice, we replace them with a new carb from Pierce Manifolds in CA.
If my memory is good, the model we buy is a 32/34, but they can help you source a new one.
Make sure they change the needle and seat for the float to one with a viton tipped needle, otherwise the smallest spec will cause the fuel to overfill and overflow.
