Bracket mounted on rear bulkhead support bar

Hello. I recently bought a new to me in 1994 defender 90 NAS- it has a bracket x 2 in the back holds something. Similar to a shovel holder in a shed. I’m curious to know if it is OEM and what it held. Thx

Bit confused by the wording. NAS D90s dont have a rear bulkhead, and there are many types of shovel holders. Can you post a photo?

Im guessing someone had a tool/equipment of some sort mounted to it, like a jack handle or something? Doesn't appear to be factory, but honestly with LR I never say never anymore.
