Best Disk brake and pads upgrade?

What're people's favorite brake disk upgrade these days? I used dba drilled rotors on my last D, is that still the best?

I’ve been using EBC on my D’S and Audis.

I like factory pads and aftermarket (no brand preference) non drilled and non slotted rotors.

Factory or equivalent stock rotors and mintex(OEM) pads. If you need more stopping power, green stuff pads

I ran ebc greenbacks on my 90 and disco. They stopped great once they heated up. They do develop a squeal.

I put EBC green stuff pads with their rotors on my D2 in high school. They were really bad until they were warm. They didn’t take long to heat up, but the first stop of a drive was always pretty poor.
