Anyone know if NAS West is in business?

A couple of years ago I remember reading about a new company, NAS West, that was opening up a shop in Venice, CA. They supposedly were making the next generation of soft tops for Defenders. I've searched and can find nothing about them. Anyone know of them or have a status of the company/products? Thanks.

Evidently, the next gen soft top company, NAS WEST has evolved into Defenderdna (defenderdna.com). Unfortunately, their website is down. Sounds like another dead end. Thanks for your help NAS-ROW.

More like "DefenderNLA" ;-)

Seems a lot of these businesses just miss their opportunity somehow. I'm just curious as to what you are looking to do? Just looking for an uber soft top or the possibility of retail for Knightsbridge? Only wondering as I have some ideas about the later, but will pm to discuss. Hope the rest of your trip home was as awesome as it was for us having you pass through!

Thanks for reaching out. Candidly, it's the former. I want to buy an awesome soft top for my '94 NAS D90. I have aftermarket rails so I was looking for a Badger II GK or equivalent. I thought that NAS West (or DefenderDNA) might be a good option without the long lead time. I'll be posting up a request for a Badger II GK shortly.

With that said, I'm always looking for opportunities and synergies for Knightsbridge Overland. We are extremely busy but I'd never turn away discussing great business growth opportunities. PM me whenever you're available. Thanks again.

Badger may be "slow" to some, but he's steady and been doing the soft tops since the time Tickfords started breaking.
