Anyone in the Harrisonburg Va area that can clear a SRS light?

My 96 DI is up at JMU with my daughter. The inspection runs out this month. The local 5-0 popped her last year for an expired inspection so I don't want to pay a fine again. I'm heading up on Sunday to get the truck inspected before it runs out but the SRS light comes occasionally. I'd like to get any code cleared before rolling into the inspection shop. So, anyone in the Harrisonburg area that has the scanner to read and clear any SRS codes?

Anyone with a scan gauge should be able to do it, or maybe even autozone.

A truck can pass inspection with a check engine light on, i do believe.

Someone in the mechanical engineering area will have one. Autozone doesn't clear codes. Only reads.

Mark, I have a Scangauge you can borrow.
I dont know if you're coming this way but I'm in Staunton...

If you go 64 to 81 let me know, I'm just a few minutes off 81 and I can meet up with you.

Thanks, JBurt. I have a OBDII scanner. It doesn't read the SRS codes. Jeff is going to assist me if I need him on Monday. Thanks again.

I see nothing about SRS codes in the scangauge II manual. It may not serve the cause either for this issue but that remains to be seen. Worse case is I leave the old Honda in its place and bring the DI back home for service. I have a Hawkeye but haven't wanted to spend the money for the DI key. It may be that time.

Got to JMU to find a major exhaust leak too. I swapped out vehicles for my old Accord and drove the DI home. I ordered up another unlock code for my Hawkeye so I can add the DI to hopefully resolve that damn SRS problem. Thanks for the offers of assistance!
