300 are rare. with auto even rarer. Get a 300 then have an auto shipped from Ashcroft. Worth checking with Julian @globallandrover as well

I was going this way years back. I even ordered the slush box and fixings to bolt to a 300 sitting in the garage. Before that project happened I sold those bits individually. I still remember Ashcroft telling me how disappointed I'd be with the performance of that combo. The word 'miserable' comes to mind. I know there is a love affair with anemic 4 cylinder boat anchors that run on diesel but to each his own. I personally find these powerplants more attuned to a garden tractor than truck.
