17" Wheel Options?

So maybe my search skills aren't serving me well, but I can't really seem to find any 17" wheel options for the classic Defender/Discover/RR?

16" tire options are dwindling, and it seems like 17" have become the defacto size for offroad rigs, which means many more tire options and tire size options, like Mickey Thompson's intriguing 255/85-17 Baja Boss AT - 34.6 x 10.5. This seems like an great size for a lifted Defender (Unfortunately they don't make this size in their Baja Boss MT at the moment though).

So are there any quality 17" alloy options out there? Any real drawback to going from the stock 16" wheel to a 17"? I really like my factory 16's, but the increased options for tires in 17" size is tempting me to consider a change if I can find a quality wheel I like..

Thoughts?

It seems that there's plenty of steel take-offs from Grenadiers - the pattern is 6x130mm, though. If an adapter could be made, the wheels aren't bad - look like Wolf wheels, and the load capacity is close to Wolfs.
Besides Baja Boss (the only 35" tire in 17" rim size), there is plenty of 17" tires in 32, 33, and 34 inch sizes.

Tuff Torque - seems like UK house brand makes them in 17x8 and 17x9, among a few others. I think SP has them, LRparts, and the other usual vendors....they are cheap too, $125 USD or so each, just have to get them here.

it'd be nice to find a 17x8, to help with that "skinny" tire look that's more traditional to Defenders
seems 17x8 is hard to come by

Looking for an alloy wheel that is both tough as factory and I like the look of, not steel wheels..

Probably looking for Unicorn tears..

In the end, most tire manufactures still make the 285/75-16 I currently run, but was looking at maybe having more options..

Weren't there some flavor of aftermarket 17" (I know OEM are 16") boost alloys floating around at some point, or did I imagine that?

There is a Proline version of the Sawtooth's that is available as an 18 x 8. Maybe that is what you were thinking?

Found'em. It was these, and they're 18's.

I really wish someone will make those pro-comps in aluminum for the Land Rovers. They are a classic wheel and not too heavy at all. anything with 10et would be awesome too.

We've been selling them for a while now, they're just replicas of the Khan wheels but they seem pretty well made
I usually take a look at what you guys have for wheels on the website - must have missed them or thought they were part of the Sawtooth lineup.

They seem like they would work well for the ultra clean street oriented builds.
