I was used to a series 2A with 2.25l petrol engine, I managed about 18 MPG on road, I hired a S3 with diesel engine and made about 24MPG on road. What sort of MPG should I assume from a Defender 90 or 110 on road? Are they all diesel?
What does "without transmission" really mean? If it's like my old 2A it should be 4 speed manual box with synchromesh on at least 2, 3 and 4. The transfer box will be non synchro.
