Took my LR3 out for the first time at MAR. You absolutely feel the larger size and wheelbase on the trails. Felt a whole lot bigger than my D2 even. Luckily escaped without any body contact on the trees
You can get a Bluetooth transmitter for a few bucks that plugs into the cig lighter and aux jack. Certainly not as clean as this but gets the job done for he most part. Volume doesn?t get incredibly loud, unfortunately, but isn?t much worse than standard radio volume levels. Quick and cheap...
This will be on the to do list once it’s up and running. Thinking this paired with the Savannah Speed Classic historic races would make for a great trip
My impression is most of their clientele aren't exactly enthusiasts. More of the crowd with big pockets, (generally) poor taste and little mechanical aptitude.
Could rig up a manual cutoff for the fuel pump or ignition pretty easily and tuck away the switch somewhere. Wouldn't stop someone from getting in but will stop them from taking off, which it sounds like is your concern
I run D1 front springs + D1 spring seats in the rear for about 1" of lift. As mentioned the spring Isolators and trim packers are great to get a little level your truck. If you're not going to load it up too much or put armor on it the added ride quality is great from the softer OE spring rates
