When opening the brake system up, I use a piece of wood to keep the brake pedal pressed to close the master up. This prevents too much fluid from dripping out from gravity. Still a little fluid comes out but way less than if you let gravity do its thing.

I think that photo is of the dimension code on the tire. There should be another 4 digit number where the first two digits are 01-52 and second is the 2 digit year to signify the tire's production date.
