Too true. Reminds me of the RN Defender SS bolt kits… Also, I’ve been riding bikes with black oxide fasteners for over 40 years and my oldest examples are still rust free. They also get the Tri-flow trick…

I agree. I have gone over mine and put a drop of Tri-flow on every exposed T30 and T40 bolt. It is important to say that the undercarriage, frame and body are substantially rustproofed. Kinda like a RN waxoil junkie from 1998. So at this point I don’t have any corrosion fears.

Discussion - 12V On Board Air Compressors in 2024

I have three vehicles, so I also have the ARB suitcase. Thinking about adding a 2-wheel Indeflate. I also have one of those $20 Chinese compressors as a back-up in the RRC (EAS). That one has also never failed to run.

That is the preferred EV built platform. What caught my eye is that it will be heavier than the Grenadier!

I’m loving mine! Don’t let the nay-sayers fool you - just did my first real highway run to drop my brother at PHL - it drove fantastic.

Scary light-duty by the looks of it.

Since we're not talking <10mpg, no, it is a non-issue. Update: My Gren hit the dealer's lot on 12/29. Still waiting for an update on the full roof rack and rubber floor mats. I stopped by yesterday and it is real! Unbelievable vehicle and I cannot wait to bring it home next weekend!

exMoD 109 with military light switch - can literally select; front, rear, head, convo, or normal-on-road.

I'll take the 109 where I can even select which lights are on ;)

Apparently you can drive a Grenadier across a continent.

Not to question driving style, but did he just pull out in front of someone, one finger on the wheel and punch it? Makes no sense compared to the prototype I drove in MD. ????? EDIT: I’ll add that my wife doesn’t like driving the RRC LWB due to the heavy steering. Driving the Grenadier felt...

And we all know how poorly RRC’s and D1’s handle on the road…
