Default Hoarding a few Defenders

"In early 2016, the company spent 7.5million on the last 240 Defenders to roll off Land Rover's production line, and shoved them into storage ready for a rainy day."

They would have been better served not 'twisting' them and holding them for 10 years.

I imagine collectors would pay obscene amounts of money for a zero mile defender in 2028

right, I would imagine there will be some with assembly line mileage tucked away. good storage is the answer here.

Precisely what he's been doing for the past two years with the majority of the 240 he bought. Carrying cost, interest and storage is expensive for a small company and while you may be correct, 10 yrs is a bit of an expensive gamble.
An earlier article indicated he borrowed the 7.5 million and has sold off many to recoup that and end up with what he now has.

Twisted's US location is about 45 miles from us here in Va.

No panache in that for his clients, who dont seem to be concerned with values

They are presently finishing a NAS 110 restoration, with owner specified changes. There was a disassembled nto tdci 90 body on the racking as well as another 110 there waiting for restoration.
