Truck camping

So I'm truck camping inside my d90 for the first time.

It's a barny 32 degrees in southern VT. But I'm thinking about ways to make it more comfy. To be honest a combination of wheelarch, clothes and recovery gear bag etc isn't too comfy. I have flattened the passenger seat and put the pillow on it.

Thinking about a removeable platform. Whose done one?

I would love to see how folks are doing this. I have thought of this and just not enough room inside for me. Folks post op if you have figured out a solution. Plenty of room to throw a tent inside.

It's really tough in a 90, especially if you're over six feet like me. It's better in a 110. I fit--just barely--on the floor of the tub of my truck. I have a carpeted piece of birch on the floor with Mac's tie downs that I strap my Pelican cases to when I'm driving. At camp time, I remove the cases (pain in the ass) and put a thick Thermarest down. On top of that, I spread my Western Mountaineering sleeping bag. It's not roomy but it's super cozy and it's my second-favorite bed.
