Upgraded LED Fog/Reverse fixtures

We had a bright idea.... Anyone else looking for a better backup light? We designed and built a fixture to house these bright LED lighting units - Unlike the stock fixture, ours provide enough light to see what?s behind you, and can be adjusted 15-degrees to where it is needed most. A black ABS or anodized aluminum housing fits into the existing mounting holes for the stock light. The matching red fog light in the same form factor will fit under existing light guards and ladders. ROW or ORV use only - these can be ordered with ready to run connectors for our #cleanbum wiring system.

Those look sweet. I assume the printed housings are just the prototypes? Why on that 110 are the lights so far apart? Is that from the Mil spec previous life? Final question, what is the cleanbum wiring system?

Thank you all for the pre-orders - I think we've responded to all the emails at this point.

I am driving the Camel Support Tribute truck to Newport Beach though Mojave and Joshua tree the next two days and will have limited connection to reply to any additional questions.

The CNC file is off to the machine shop for aluminum prototypes to be built in the next two weeks - with any luck we will have first metal samples before we are out of the shop for the Baja 1000.

Is this needed to hook the light up?

Or can you just use the two wires from the old lights.

Lights can be ordered bare ends and you can buttsplice into the existing bullets, or we can provide with crimped and sealed locking forks for the cleanbum conversion. (the image you posted)

Anyway you can show the light as it works behind the truck, I can post how weak my stock one is for reference
I’m interested in both, just so they match.
Not even sure what the rear fog is for?

In the EU a rear fog is required when front fogs are on. It's a single low light that has similar brightness to the brake lights.

I can grab some photos after dark today -

Was out of the US for the Baja 1000 this past week so apologies for the slow reply - but the light kit (all of them) worked a treat in Mexico..

No hurry, but I noticed water inside my reverse light the other day, right before I couldn’t see backing out of my driveway. So I’m pretty sure I’m buying one of each

Upgraded my fog & reverse lights to these double reverse lights with camping yellow lights (activated by the fog light switch on the steering column) from DefendersNW. I didn't feel like the fog light is useful - If you are worried about being rear ended, put your hazards on. The harness already had right/left redundant wires for each, so it was easy to put reverse/camping lights on both sides. I'm really happy with the light output. It's almost blinding. Comparison pics.
