Restored Defender 110 Station Wagon. Asking $131,500.00 OBO. This custom hand build Defender has had a full ground up restoration. Every part is new or rebuilt. I started with a new Galvanized frame, new Galvanized Bulkhead, new Galvanized "B" pillars, new Galvanized bed support beams, new galvanized bed caps. The motor is a hand built high compression 4.6L Rover motor running the Factory GEMS management system with OBD2 port. Mated to this sweet v-8 is a stainless cat back exhaust with a throaty sound. Of course the Rover Automatic was added just like the 97 NAS trucks. The engine computer was relocated to the Passenger seat box keeping it cool and safe from the elements. The motor has less than 300 miles on it! The Doors and roof were new take offs. The rear body and fenders were used off the original truck. The hood was purchased off a NAS, (north American Specification) truck and it still has the emissions sticker. (extremely hard to find) The interior was covered in new Exmore G4 trim. The center console was taken off a 97 NAS truck, again a very rare item. The floor is a combination of rubber mats and insulated matting system. The headliner was done in a British twill. It looks very sharp. This is a LHD truck using a TD5 dash and wiring harness. All connectors are factory Defender style. The instrument warning lights work as they should with the gas motor, (ie check engine light) The center binnacle has the TD5 switch gear with working switches. The radio is a stock branded Land Rover unit. Of course a factory style A/C unit has been installed. The front Bumper is a new ARB bumper with working turn signals. A large 11.5 winch is installed to round out the look and serviceability. In the rear a NAS rear bumper was used. The tire carrier was upgraded to a Heavy Duty unit taking the weight off of the door. A safety Devices full cage was installed for safety. This unit has 8 frame contact locations including an interior hoop behind the front seats. All in all it is a fantastic opportunity to own a British icon. This truck looks sharp and runs like a champ. It sounds fantastic. Truck is located in Nelson County Virginia, near Charlottesville.
Other options can be added to the truck, at cost, if you like. Rear Jump seats, fog lights, trailer tow harness etc

Very nice Mike. I thought this was the one you built for Mary ?
For anyone considering this truck, Mike does great work.

Thanks for all of the kind words.

Yes this was Mary's truck but the new house build needs an infusion of cash. I guess the house outweighed the Defender :)

Somebody asked about the Steering wheel, It is from a Puma truck that I added a leather cover to. With the Puma wheels you have to add some tabs to the back so that the turn signal will click off. (on a Td5 stalk) The Puma's use the computer for this.
