The Rear End

OK. I think I might actually be in the mood to start with the rear end project on this truck while it's running well, and before the summer trek season really hits.. In general, it's like this:

  • Interior roll cage
  • Cargo area shelving/bed/?
  • Refurb from seatbox back
  • Carpet and repaint and retrim
  • Noise abatement
  • Figure out the actual real way to do rear seat belts (each shoulder belt is mounted differently, and the center anchor is ghetto from some previous owner.)
So now I'm looking for last minute ideas. I have the roll cage, I have good seats (but I secretly want to mod some front seats into the center row) I have new cargo window trim pieces, I need to make the whole thing just work right.

I don't really want to turn the thing into a camper, but I'm toying with the idea of doing something along the lines of a hybrid thing were I can sleep back there when I'm on my own.

So I'm looking for ideas, pics, tricks, etc...
