You can, of course, change the CV joints to Chrome-Moly as well and those should be fine as well. If you are stock, the weakest part of the front axle is the halfshafts on both early and late axle designs.

I do plan on upgrading the front axle once I sell my next Porsche engine to generate some cash. Bill at GBR thinks it will be fine unless I spend a lot of time off road. The R&P in the GBR diff are the stock ratio, but were also upgraded. I think the rear and the Tom Woods driveshafts will be fine.
