1990 Defender 110 - RHD - Price/Advice?

Hi,
I'm selling a RHD Defender 110 hardtop, 119,711 miles, ex-MoD.
It was imported from the UK in February this year, and has been registered and titled by the Florida DHSMV and VIN checked.

It's completely stock, no modifications whatsoever, and has even been confirmed by Land Rover's historic department as being stock and having the correct VIN.

It is therefore a little banged up, but in decent condition. Runs well, and looks bloody awesome!

Could anyone give me an estimate for a sale price, or any advice on selling it?

Thanks!
Henry

Did you import it just to sell it? It’s not exactly the most popular configuration, and RHD does not appeal universally. Looks rather rust free but has some other significant apologies. Unless you stole it then I don’t think you can expect a large return on your investment after adding shipping etc.

I imported it as a friend of a friend was buying it, and he intended to do the whole 100 grand custom rebuild.
The deal was essentially closed, then midway through shipping he disappeared.
I haven't been able to contact him since, so the car is going up for sale.

I think Red90 meant 10-15k, and I think he’s right for relatively easy sale money. To the right buyer you might get 20 but over that there starts to be other options. It’s impossible to tell for sure, but lack of rust might be the main selling point here (and that’s not insignificant).

Yes, $10000 to $15000. You would not get $10000 up here. 3 door, ex-military, RHD, V8 puts it all on the least desirable end of things. As Jim says, rust free (if it is) helps. Then it depends on if everything is working well or not. If you want good money, you need to make it pretty and move the steering wheel. Pretty is what sells.

I'm not expecting to make heaps of cash on it, It was only imported because an import is cheaper to start with than an NAS model, for the buyer who wanted to do the big custom rebuild.
