How Do You Gt This Thing Out?

This seems to be permanently lodged in the track on the door. How do you get it out?

In other words, the track seems permanently closed on both ends with welding, and the track is welded to the door itself.

It's out of the way. Pic just doesn't show. It would clear that panel anyway. I'm just trying to figure how to get the arm out of the track itself. The gap is there, but it is blocked by the rubber end, and the only way I can see to get that out is the cut/ruin/burn it out.

There were at least 2 different designs, but both are similar
If memory serves me, the arm slides back and forth in a metal channel with a rubber buffer that the arm goes up against to absorb shock.
At the very outside end there is a tab bent over that has to be straightened in order to slide the arm out the back.

The other design has a pin rivet type of thing at one end and a clevis at the other. You'll probably have to drill out the riveted pin.

Thanks, that might help. I'll take a look for what you describe when I open it up again.
