Matt, Nice! "Gold Member Package". Is this an upgrade for the previous ride? Either way, that is awesome.

Not entirely sure. It was painted gold at some point. Briggs did me a solid and accepted delivery while I am out of state. He estimated some time ago. He also recommended I regrow my epic deployment stache due to the vibe this thing is putting out. It might happen.

My plan when I get back to CA is to vacuun the dead mice then pressure wash it outside and in. From there I'm going to get missing drivetrain parts and reinstall the seatbox and floors. Next will be brake rebuild either with disc conversion or swap some use standard drum brakes with a few changes like Briggs has done with Ford MC etc. Then see how the iron duke engine drives and make a decision if I want to be ridiculous and impure and put a modern engine in and make this my daily ride or live with it as is or go back to a 2.25.

I'd like to think I will paint it someday but if I were a betting man I would keep my schmeckles.

Replaced the rollers with 7.50 michelin XZYs on 1 ton rims. It already looks better and sits nice and even. Did a little bit of cleaning and checking out what all was piled in the truck. Lots of nice original features remain. First up after more cleaning will be brake system rebuild with a combination of series III parts and some Ford bits and sourcing a transmission, t-case, and rear driveshaft.

You should run some thread between those mummified mice and wear them as a necklace when driving your Series. My opinion only, don't paint it.

Ha! Jeff really wanted me to keep them. He kept asking. I'm just glad I didn't find a rat king. There were a lot of old seed shells, poo, and possibly chicken feed everywhere. That said the interior has some decent deluxe panels that just need a retrim and it should loom pretty good.

It totally has! He doesn't have a heinous up hill switchback with no space for a trailer so I mostly had no choice but to depend on him since this was a nonrunner.

Coordinating shipping for a 2.25, tcase, and transmission. From there rebuild the axles and put in new brakes eliminating the single circuit with mostly series III parts. Blast off most of the gold paint. Work gets in the way.

Found over a dollar in change, a handful of nuts and bolts, and a leaked and dried up bottle of model paint behind the dash gauges while eliminating the old wiring in preparation for chevy engine removal and 2.25 petrol installation.
