I really like my Nakatanenga carrier. I was being somewhat frugal (if you can call it that) with my purchase as I went with the one that opens with the door. My 110 is a convertible and after I had ordered I thought that a drop down tail gate might be a better option for my truck. But to be honest I am still 100% happy and can see that the swing open with the door is going to be better for me in the long run.
If I change my mind I could always modify it but it is just too nice to try an do that.
When I say frugal it is because I had made up my mind on getting it but the extra cost to go to the drop down tailgate style was weighing on me. I was thinking to my self, "do I really think I am going to convert to a drop down tailgate?"
The best way to install is lay everything out and make sure you are using the correct fasteners as they very based on cross member and tailgate attachment. I need to remove mine to paint my cross member and it looks like a breeze.
