Help with Center Console

I have the pictured console that I'm looking to install. It sat too low when placed directly on the removable cover above the diff box. I mocked up about 2" blocks that gets it to what seems like a usable height.

What if anything should be under the center console?

Standard is to have 2 wooden blocks under the cubby so it's not sitting directly on the cover.

Not sure the height, looks like an inch or so. I think Exmoor supplies plastic feet with their cubbies. However, factory spec was the wood spacing blocks.

If you want to upgrade... paint it black so it's less visible...

I found the same issue with mine both front and rear cubby boxes in my 110. Here is my solution for the front box to make it a better armrest. Also I put a 10 inch active sub under the cubby.

I picked up a piece of thick(ish) sheet metal cut it and bent it, painted it and mounted to the seat box via the screw you see in one of the pics I am pointing at. The rear piece is secured to the same ridge on the back of the seat box and hidden by the carpet trim piece (again I am pointing at the trim panel).

Hope this helps some. Good luck
