Got it stripped down today and degreased. Plasma cutter came in handy. One trailing arm is bent and the defender wishbone is in great condition so will just use those. Grease kept most rust off the pumpkin, so not too bad.

I'll pull the axles before I go any further to make sure I'm not wasting my time. Feels solid so should be ok. I guess I'll see.

I've never noticed my rear brakes locking up before my fronts on or off road including in the snow/ice.
