Last one I purchased couldn't be made to fit to the valve cover, it was off by inches.

x2 Doug. I'd love to see recommended alternative. I actually think aftermarket valve cover gaskets fit better than Genuine ones on the V8. I haven't had problems with the Genuine V8 ones.

The cheaper ones feel plasticky and not rubbery and generally don't fit as well it's hard to show a picture frankly.

The axle in my 90 came from a D1 in a salvage yard. It hit something so hard that they radius arm is S shaped, but the ball, and even the wheel bearings, seem fine.

I'm reviving this thread because the general question in my mind just became a reality. I my fan pulley started sounding like a box of rocks last night, so I'm needing to buy a front cover. Bearmach? Allmakes? Britpart?

Which of these would you turn to first, in general, and for this specific part?

As a general rule, I would avoid Britpart unless there is no other option.
