GM 3.0 Liter 4 Cylinder

The conversion of this GM 3.0 Liter and the Chevy 292 are so easy, am going to pull the 292 to prototype the 3.0 Liter in our 110 and drive it a few months while we refresh the 292 and then swap the 292 back in when we install the AC.

You answered my dumb question about the 292 in the other thread.

Is the GM 3.0 Liter conversion also only limited to certain transmission, e.g. "short belhousing 4 cylinder bolt pattern"?

The post above implies that.

No.
It fits all 4 cylinder bolt patterns.
So it will fit the R380 long belhousing 300TDI transmission as well as the short LT77 and R380 Stumpy.

So Its a R380 approved? No mandatory conversion to a LT77 tunnel?

That's very welcome news.

Just to clarify the GM 3.0 Liter has an adapter that bolts to any Land Rover 4 cylinder transmission belhousing.

To further clarify:
The GM 3.0 Liter bolts to a short belhousing LT77.
An R380 Stumpy bolts into the same place as the short brlhousing LT77 without any changes and the the GM 3.0 Liter bolts to it.
The GM 3.0 Liter also bolts to a long belhousing R380 that is commonly used with a 300TDI, and this tunnel is different from the short LT77 tunnel.

Got a little time in this evening to figure out the accelerator cable geometry and distances for the linkage position.

Pictures are poor, but laying out the turbo for the GM 3.0 liter gasoline engine.
The Holley sniper has a 2 bar manifold pressure sensor, so could handle a 7.5 PSI boost right down the throat.
The TDI radiator, intercooler, and associated frame assembly make for a perfect match.
Wide band O2 sensor will be in the down pipe after the turbo.
Will probably use the oil cooler as well.
Power and economy!!!
