12v Compressor Comparison

I have a puma compressor. 1.36cfm@90psi, continuous duty cycle. Inflates my 255/85r16 33” tires from 15psi to 33psi in 1 minute. With or without the air tank, but you can find it for just dollars more with the tank so I went that route since it also has a cut off switch that way and you can always unbolt it. I already used a rrc air tank, fits perfectly below the windo in the inset area. Quiet running. I’d get it again. Bent a 1/4” aluminum bracket to hold it—it’s very secure. Right now it’s bolted to the plywood top of the drawer cabinet which is going to be replaced with an aluminum top soon... cost about $200

Their target audience is people who finance new Toyotas. The compressor needs to hold up to a couple of weekend trips a year and some parking lot meetups.

Ouch..

That compressor seems to be coming up a lot lately. Looks like its output is slightly better than my old Ready Air (it is 20 years old now, afraid to think what that makes me) at 90 psi, and about half the price of what I paid back then.. LOL!
