I use this site almost daily to look up Defender parts.
http://www.allbrit.de/NAV.cfm?SPRACHE=EN&PAGE=338364

After a quick google search with the parts number you can find several dealers stateside or in the UK.

Decoding a parts number at Rovers North.
Find the part number you are looking for on their website is easy. Locate the part and then click on the web address page. The Land Rover part number can be found contained in the middle of it.
Example:
http://www.roversnorth.com/ProductDesc.aspx?code=SFP000260&type=0&eq=&key=it is part number SFP000260, Brake Pads Front Defender 90/110

I have used Allbrit extensively as well. However I never thought to do this for a RN part number. Thanks!

I also like www.landroverworkshop.com It has some nice diagrams and will show stock at a few UK retailers. I have found that if there is no stock it normally means there is a newer part number that you have to find.

There is also the old school PDF style http://www.retroanaconda.com/landrover/2010/02/land-rover-defender-110-parts-book/

Or the RN Parts Catalog http://www.roversnorth.com/files/Graphics/Rovers-Magazine/DEFENDER-Parts-Guide-2016.pdf
