I have a lr3 and recently purchased a adventure trailer horizon. I think they weigh about 2k. I have one of the stock Land Rover hitches (longer version), and it hang pretty low. I was wondering if anyone has and luck with the voyager rack hitches? https://voyagerracks.com/land-rover-lr3-rear-hitch-receiver Do you think they are sufficient? Also read about one made by someone called a rhino hitch? But don?t know where to buy one. Any thoughts or suggestions would be great

The Rhino Hitch is akin to the Aus (is that a Mitchell Brothers setup?) that broncoduecer posted. I can get you contact info for Todd T if you want. Or you can engage him through facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DifferentialPartsUS), phone (512-698-6169), etc.

I have a Rhino hitch. I love it, but it isn't cheap. I've also worked with Todd on other stuff and have a Snomaster Fridge I bought from him too-so I'm biased but I'm also attesting with my $.

What year is your horizon? I have a 2005 Torsten bar one, and use the short LR3 hitch with it NP (but i am lifted 2? and on 33?s so YMMV)
I mostly tow with the D90 with about 1? lift and its level

Great trailers btw.. loaded your about right 2K
