Hey there everyone. We're looking for either or both Camel Trophy brush guards to reproduce for everyone. Looking to buy, borrow, or rent from someone in the States preferably. The sooner we can get one to reverse engineer, the sooner we can get them out to you all.

Located in Orlando, Florida.

Hey, just for clarity this engineering diagram has a lot of the details but for the early brush guard with the flat winch guard bar. I’ve also attached a screenshot of another user who provided measurements for the later

I’m a keen customer so happy to help wherever I can.

Excellent. We've got a round bar on the way. Should be enough info there to get the early style modeled as well.

I need these 3 measurements to complete the model

From this graphic I shared before you can deduce the following:
‘Width of tube’
530.67mm
‘Angle’
102°
(180° - the 78° shown for the inner angle)
‘Length of plate’
216.75mm
Method for length of plate is bit more complex as we need to make that dimension part of a triangle and use Pythagoras based on numbers we already know.
1. We have the 710mm, 530.67mm and 196.78mm measurements that relate to that general area around the protruding bar.
2. If we minus 530.67 from 710, you get 179.33. That tells us how much longer the internal bar is than the external one. Divide that by two and you get 89.67, which is one side of the difference.
2. If we form a triangle out of the 196.78 (a) and 89.67 (b) values, that leaves us with the ‘Length of plate’ (c) value. If we use Pythagoras, that value comes out as 216.75mm.
See attached other photo for a visualisation.
NB: I’m aware my workings assume a 2D environment but I think it’s close enough.

There were two drawings like yours posted previously. Wasn't sure which was correct. I understand theoretical calculations but I want to be as close to original as possible. Were these other measurements taken from an original brush guard? I ask for the above reason, but also because your attachment points show the 4 holes as being square. On the Brownchurch unit I have, they are not square, one hole is offset on each foot.

I was going to get with Matt Hedrick to get physical measurements from his original, but haven't had any luck thus far.

No worries, and I only have those diagrams which I found elsewhere on this forum - I wasn’t the creator of them.

I’ll see if I can find someone here in Australia where I am that’s got a bar I can get measurements from.

@Scottyoh I've received some measurements from a Camel Trophy brush-guard owner in the UK. The attached photos show the 'length of plate' and 'width of tube' measurements per your recent query.

From the pictures, it appears that the 'length of plate' is 23cm and the 'width of tube' is 51.5cm. I've also got a bunch of other photos showing various other measurements if you'd like those to double check.

@Scottyoh when will you be in a position to receive orders for the rounded version? Have you got a guide price yet? Hope you had a great Christmas and happy New Year for a few days time!
