WTB 300Tdi or 2.8 Takeout

I’m looking for a running 300Tdi or 2.8HS, preferably something halfway decent and as complete as possible. My ideal would be a fresh rebuild including trans, intake parts, etc. Don’t want trash, but I doubt my ideal is available.

If someone had a rebuild (or new!) on a pallet I’d consider that too.

I think Rovers North sells them complete. If you want to take on a rebuild, we still have some of those Robert Davis cores at the shop. Most of the ancillaries are there too.

RN’s lead time is huge. Think I’ve got a lead on one but I might also need a core or some misc parts.

i know you are looking for ready to go but building these is so easy with minimal tooling , go for it !

Have you looked at having one commissioned OUS? In hindsight I wish I’d looked at this option. After having to replace the worn IP, turbo, injectors, radiator, IC it would have probably been a smarter choice.

M&D is on holiday until 7 June, so no dice there. Our YouTube friend in Canada has trouble getting cores. Crossing my fingers that the one I’ve got a line on comes through.
