I dont have eyes on my vehicle at this time so hoping someone can help me out. I have the usual Wipac LED's and the corresponding britpart econoseal pigtails. Can someone tell me the the following info. If I recall the black wires on the harnesses are actually the positive, but I want to be sure before i continue with my harness.

Brake/Park britpart harness colors-
Red -
Green -
Black -

Turn signal britpart harness colors-
Green -
Black -

Thank you.

thanks gents. i almost at this point have lucas colors memorized. britpart does not do anyone any favors as to matching.

That makes sense @O2batsea

So this is what we are looking at ? ( i could swear i was puzzled as I thought the ground was not black, but again have no evidence at this time.

Brake/Park britpart harness colors-
Red - parking
Green - brake
Black - ground

Turn signal britpart harness colors-
Green - turn signal
Black - ground

I guess I could also avoid this nonsense if I purchase some female 2/3 way econoseal connectors and pins and just omitted britpart altogether

In general Britpart and other manufacturers follow the lucas color code without the tracer
e.g. on an indicator (flasher) unit unit black will be earth other wire will be green
(if it was correct would have has red or white tracer for LH or RH)

All good info here. At this point I am just going to wait until I get to the vehicle to make sure. Probably just remove the britpart interconnects since I was going to have to cut them anyway.

Anyone have a good line on econoseal 2 and 3 way female ends?

I have generic 2 and 3 pin connectors. Generic being they are not branded but they are the correct connectors. $2.5 each plus $4 shipping. I also have the flasher relay $10.
