Hello all. Need a little advice. I have a lot of white kind of blue smoke at cold start. Doesn't smell sweet. The following has been done to it.
I new head gasket, rebuilt head
new glow plugs
all new OEM injectors
rebuilt injector pump
new turbo
compression good across all cylinders.
only about 100k on 200tdi
I live in Boston so it has been cold. Not the normal amount of smoke, it is excessive until warm then gone.
Pistons and rings looked good when head off. Timing on motor good. Might try to advance timing and see what happens. going to change out air and fuel filter this weekend but doubt that will change anything. Turbo clean of any oil. Drain tube may have a small lead at the bottom.
Kind of at a loss.
