Which Seat Heaters?

So considering addign some seat heaters to the stock NAS 90 seats (I'd love some cool Scheel-Mann seats, but that's not happening anytime soon). So the question is, which is the best option. What really is the difference in 'carbpn' seat heaters? I'm assuming the heater grid is made of carbon fibers instead of copper wire? This make them more durable, or?

So what have peoplke used, how long have you had them, and what is your impression of them?

I did cheap seat cover type, which plug into a 12v outlet. Elastic fasteners broke so now I have to think of a plan B.

I have the Exmoor, and have been using them for about a year. I did the full "package", new buns, new upholstery, heater upgrade. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

I just picked up a universal kit off fleaBay. Carbon fibre, and installed them and they've been working great for seven years now. Daily driver all year and great to have in winter. 🤷‍♂️

I have Puma OEM seat heaters. They are....adequate. They work and will be part of the solution but won't burn you out. So anything near stock Puma seat heaters, I would pass on. I wouldn't spend money to install them. BTW stock Puma seat heaters are on/off only.

About a year ago I bought new exmoor seats in the original NAS style twill denim with the seat heaters. It works really well, was easy to install, and I use them a lot even though I live on the coast in California. Would do them again for sure! Purchased from Rovers North.

Did the same. They heat up much faster than the interior of the D90. Highly recommend them.
