I've been on the hunt to replace my driver's front door. Incase I can't find one. Which door is the way to go now? The puma style or the full galv old style door? I've head people say positive things about both styles.

I ordered the fully built doors galvanized SP4x4. The only issue I have is that the components where not installed correctly and are poor quality.
Cons*
  1. Both of my latches are broken right out of the box
  2. Very stiff locks, in fact my inner lock snapped trying to unlock the door
  3. poor communication after the sale, only sent one latch replacement and no advice
  4. Both lock actuators are held in with sheet metal screws and not bolts.
  5. The window mech gets stuck on the inner door support when you raise the windows
  6. Door handles are flimsy
unboxing:

Pros*
  1. The doors are very well built structurally
  2. nice hinges
  3. original LR inner support
  4. Channels are installed well
  5. Skins are straight with no dents
  6. Packaged very well

I think for this much money they should have been tested and tuned before leaving the factory. I find it unacceptable that I have to now replace the door latches on brand new doors.

Sounds like it's best to buy the raw doors and build them up yourself. How were the handles flimsy? I've used aftermarket handles and they were nearly identical to original. Perhaps yours were different, or is the mounting different? Where did the latches break?

Odd really. my old beat up handles were solid, these flex a lot. Not sure if they are the least expensive ones on the market or not. Again, I'm not knocking the doors themselves just the other cons i pointed out.

Interesting the door actuators are supposed to be installed using nuts and a bolt, they were just held in with sheet metal screws.

Will throw my 2c into this. I bought a set of doors from them, aside from coming literally loose in the box with zero packing, the curvature of the profile of the door was way off. Never looked right installed.

They don't warranty any shipping damage outside of the UK so they have no incentive to pack carefully it seems

Painted, hung $$$$ immediately removed.

I ended up ordering Ashtree doors (took me 2 years of waiting to get them) and have yet to go about installing them.

That being said they are a great source for other items - I have their galvanized lower seatbelt bracket/bulkhead mount, extra thick floor panels and some other small bits that are good quality
