Looking good Jimmy
Painted my recently acquired roof rack for the 110. Added the EE jerry cans holders, Genuine Parts worklamp, Maxitrax mounts, and tie down points for storage boxes. View attachment 11479
I have a similar issue, I'm going to use a full outer vent skin cut in half, and use the cut off for the inner portionLooks good.
Any chance you have found a source of replacement panels for the inner skin you cut out around the vents?
Been looking but not found anything (I just need the end of the vent to the door pillar o LHS).
Guess I may have to polish up my non existent panel beating skills!

Many thanks for that tip I have been trying to figure out how to make the shape at the edge of the vent.
below shows my issue inside . Outside shows no rust damage.
The VNT will change your world!I removed the water pump housing to replace p gasket and while i was at it removed the manifolds, turbo, starter etc. cleaning it all up and then new starter, vnt turbo/uprated intercooler and water pump going in. I can't wait to drive this with more boost etc.
Finished up the r380/lt230 install which entailed hooking up wires, sensors, mounting brackets, re organizing wiring etc. Now on to the engine bay. Finished repainting pulleys, top rail and mocking up turbo for install. I soaked my bull horns overnight in rust remover, wire brushed and then used vht ceramic paint. I need to bake them tomorrow to cure. Came out pretty tidy. Getting back to it tomorrow. #garageisolating
Definitely replace the stock boost hose , it's 100% garbage. Had two locally blow /melt
