Found that the bottom bushing of the right front shock was sloppy in the Classic, and jammed a thick washer under it.
It fixed the straight-line wobble I lived with for about 17 thousand miles.

Koito H4 flat fronts? Share a pic of them installed if you get a chance.

yes, the OEM toyota Koito "kit". Purchased from my local toyota dealer (at wholesale) for $38. In the box are two lamps, two bulbs, and a complete H4 relay harness. the harness does not reach the defender battery under the seat so will have a small amount of extra work but not much.

should be done this weekend and i will share some photos.

Learning experience... dropped the trans and t-case on the D2, separated them, and the spud shaft fell off. Bolt had backed out completely, after two owners previous had replaced t-case and did not put locktite on the bolt. Guess that was the source of my transmission codes and limp mode... At least a 160k mile trans is being replaced with a 10k one, but that could have been a much easier fix. I could not find that issue associated with those codes anywhere online, so I didnt think it could be the problem.

Pulled the tank to replace the fuel pump. Only broken 5 out of 6 bolts taking it out. I even marinated them in PB Blaster all week. Most of the day spent on my back drilling and tapping the old crusty bolts out. Everything is cleaned up and ready to go back in tomorrow after a little rust prevention.
