fixed up my battery cables, which led to aux power distribution, then to under hood fuse/relay panel, to integrated headlamp harness, conversion to deutsche, panel straightening, outer wing swap, etc...just really wanted to make some new battery cables but you know how it goes.
PO at least put in some relays, but too many bare/shorted wires for comfort.

Succumbed to technology ... I've had a coolant "leak" so minor that I never saw any liquid, just a whiff now and then.
I broke down and bought some fluorescent dye and a cheepie UV light.
I'll be darned, there was a water pump bolt loose (Isuzu 4BD1) .. one that holds the end of the alternator bracket.
That dampness and a very small amount of spray on the adjacent heater piping - almost vapor - showed up easily!
Problem solved
I will say that the UV penlight only provides a small field of illumination.
If I did this any more often, I'd find a bigger light.

My cats developed the death rattle with big chunks banging around inside. Sounded like a rod broke it was so loud. So RN (thanks Zack!) hooked me up with a new stainless steel y-pipe. Very nicely made with larger diameter (2.25 in) tubing and heavy flanges. Fit perfectly and even came with the hardware. The truck is a bit louder now sans cats, with a healthy growl above 3000 rpm.

Looks nice, but I have to ask, how's the exhaust odor now? Mine is fairly offensive (wife points it out every time) until the cats heat up..

I've had cats self destruct before with death rattle. Ultimately the bits passed like kidney stones.

I have noticed a bit more exhaust smell, but I am getting a new exhaust tip with a downturn to help.
