Made some good progress getting the bulkhead and rear bulkhead fitted out. Some Td5 and later vehicles come with a noise pad behind the dash. I got some Second Skin Mass-Loaded Vinyl and made one. This fills up the space nicely but next time i would got for the thinner version.

On the rear bulkhead I’m setting up the internal brackets for a Safety Devices cage as I go along. Any parts of the kit that go under the body I pulled out and had galvanized.

Got to look at my truck yesterday. I thought I took more pictures than I did. Looking good.

The truck with the LS sounds awesome.

Defender got Wolfs and 7.5R16 BFG MT KM3s

(Before) - apologies for the Michael Bay lens flares, the amount of sun while I was doing it was staggering

Noticed some wet driver's floor carpets in the D3 and found a crusty nipple (ha) on that side's sunroof drain.
Bodge fixed it with PVC and some silicone, now we dry...

There are two threads
What did you do to your Defender and What did you do to your Rover. Everybody has been posting Defender stuff in the Rover thread. I just stinky'ed both of them. Nothing has been lost.

Those strikers work really well. I find they still grab the odd belt loop, but they are much more forgiving, If you feel it grab as you are getting in, you can just adjust your weight slightly and your loop will easily slide off the striker.

I ripped the whole back pocket off my favorite pare of Kuhl pants once while trying to push start the truck in a parking lot. ....it didn't start...
